Front End Window blanks when date sort is pressed

Details
In a mail folder, when I press the date sort button at the top of the window,
the window blanks. If I go into a different folder and then come back, the mail
is shown properly.

Worksforme on Mozilla trunk builds
linux 102708 RedHat 6.2
win32 102704 NT 4
mac 102708 Mac OS9
and Mozilla branch builds 10/27 mac, win32 and linux.
