I found a similar issue on the sun forum, which points to another bugzilla bug. This is the response I received from Sun regarding the bug in both the Mozilla and Sun Forums. --- The bug in Lightning is only seen in versions .09 and 1.0b1. Version .08 works correctly. If you are interested in the Lightning bug details, they can be viewed at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=490303 where I also added a comment about this behavior. In Comment 15, it looks like a partial fix was posted, but, I don't think it completely addresses the method=256 issue. It is up to you if you'd like to test it. Sun is also working with the Lightning developers to get this corrected and is hoping they will have it fixed for version 1.0b2. There is also a Sun forum discussion about this at http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5423556
Nick, does this issue still exist? Bug 490303 is marked as fixed. I'd appreciate if you could provide the details requested in comment 1 as I do not have a WCAP server for testing.
Phil, I apologize for not marking it resolved. The bug 490303 included code that fixed a JS module. Once we replaced the code, the problem was resolved.
