Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9.0.16) Gecko/2009120123 Camino/2.0.1 (like Firefox/3.0.16)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9.0.16) Gecko/2009120123 Camino/2.0.1 (like Firefox/3.0.16)

I'm logged into my gmail account and am viewing my weekly calendar. I try to print my calendar using the 'print' icon that is located just above the calendar near the 'day, week, month' view tabs. The print preview screen pops up, but the preview is empty (a blank white page) and the page does not print. I tried adjusting various pop-up window settings in Camino preferences (without restarting Camino) but that didn't resolve the issue. I was able to print from Safari and it's preferences are set to run java/script and to block pop-ups.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Log into your Gmail account and open the calendar to 'Week' view.
2. Click on the print icon or text located next to the view tabs. (NOT the print icon that may be in your browser bar, but the actual print icon that is on the calendar page.)
3. The print preview page will appear (pop up) but it will be blank, thus I'm unable to preview and print the page.
Actual Results:
The blank print preview page appears.

Note: I wish I could put some screen shots here somewhere... :-)

Expected Results:
I would expect the preview page to show the page contents and have it give me the option of printing the page or canceling the print.

I love Camino! It rocks! I am a proud Firefox user when I'm on a PC, but on my Mac, give me Camino. My co-workers who also use Macs will have occasional problems with Firefox, but Camino runs rock-steady on my Mac. I love it. (*That's why I was so surprised about this bug! *gasps*)

You can, using the "Add an attachment" link just above the comments here.

Can you try this using an equivalent version of Firefox (3.0.16, in this case) and see if it has the same problem? Most printing bugs in Camino are really Core bugs, so the equivalent Firefox should have the same problem.

You can download that Firefox version here:

I installed Firefox using the link you supplied above, and the print preview page does display correctly, however, when I click on the print button at the bottom right of the page, Firefox gives me a 'What should I do?' dialogue window (and defaults to my pdf reader) instead of just printing the doc as Safari does. Is this the expected behavior? [Uhh... was thinking that when I click on 'print' in the preview window the document should print and not open as a pdf that I then have to print via my print options in my pdf viewer.]

Also.. after reading the information on Bug 417740 there doesn't seem to be a clear 'solution.' Am I supposed to regress to Camino 1.5.4?
And getting the same results when I select the "Save As" button instead of the 'print' button in the print preview pane. How else can I help?
