Here's a link (though I haven't found a pdf that doesn't crash it):
http://www.ece.lsu.edu/ee4720/2010/ca.pdf
About plugins reports Adobe Reader 9.3, as does "acroread -v"

OK, well, WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100128 Minefield/3.7a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20100128051129. Maybe linux only thing then.

I noticed that in the 10 February nightly build Minefield is no longer crashing when a PDF is loaded, however the PDF is not shown. Instead, fragments of other windows appear, then after a few seconds the window turns all white. It's still all white after forcing a repaint by resizing, minimize/restore, etc. Other tabs seem unaffected.
Perhaps others are still getting crashes, so I suppose the white window problem should be another bug.
FWIW, I'm running Linux 2.6.18-164.11.1.el5 .. x86_64 .. GNU/Linux

Thanks for the update, David.
The white window issue will be bug 544088.
I mark this WORKSFORME. If we continue to get crash reports we can reopen.
