maybe not the right component, but filing here to get a few eyes on the report. spotted on a security forum post. guess we need a test case. http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2010/q1/353 From: Jon Kibler <Jon.Kibler () aset com> Date: Fri, 29 Jan 2010 09:21:15 -0500 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 When trying to open "foo.xml" in Firefox on Windows, Mac, or Linux using Firefox 3.5.7 or 3.6, it rolls over and croaks with the error: Error loading stylesheet: A network error occured loading an XSLT stylesheet: http://nmap.org/data/nmap.xsl I realize this is probably a Firefox problem, as the file opens ok in IE or Safari, but any ideas for a work-around with Firefox? THANKS! Jon Kibler

Someone answered that thread here: http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2010/q1/358 and claims it is a Firefox security feature and points to http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2010/q1/358

We don't allow cross-origin loads of XSLT stylesheets (error message isn't super clear, afaik we have a bug on that). I think they can use CORS (https://developer.mozilla.org/En/HTTP_access_control) to allow access.
