Most of the times i want to navigate to the first one in the list. in such a case, a keyboard shortcut would be helpful in loading the first such URL in the drop down list Internet explorer 8 has this feature. shift+enter loads the first address in the drop down list box. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.have three or more sites in the drop down list 2.no shortcut key to go to the first address. 3.
A quick search didn't turn up a duplicate, so confirming for now.

I will attempt to code this keyboard shortcut as a patch for the source code for you.
Per email request, assigning to JP Kirsten to take a crack at a fix for this.

Isn't the keyboard shortcut to accomplish what you describe the "TAB" button or the down-arrow? Why create a shortcut to do what you describe? Type your search, use the down-arrow to select which one you want, press enter. We don't need a shortcut to select the first entry. Mozilla has more important things to work on than this.
