This is a tracking bug for creating a Mozmill test script for the following Litmus test case:

[sessionstore] Save your tabs for next time (Quit)
https://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=6380 [Firefox 3.5]
https://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=8418 [Firefox 3.6]

The litmus testcases are no longer available. But I wonder what could be still useful here to cover what cannot be done by Mochitest.

Mike, do you have anything in mind which could be useful? Your latest patch covers at least the part that we correctly reopen windows and tabs from the last session. So I assume this request would only cover the case when you quit and not restart Firefox. But not sure if that makes a difference.

Doing a full shutdown as opposed to a restart is slightly different in the platform sense of things, and how Firefox starts itself back up. It would certainly be useful to test the full shutdown case.

This has actually been implemented as a Firefox UI test meanwhile via bug 1228120.
