These came pre-imaged with our linux32, win32 ref images. However, still need work for power/rack/dns/etc.
Phong, can you please ensure these get the following names: Windows: w32-ix-slaveNN.build.mozilla.org Linux: moz2-linux-ix-slaveNN.build.mozilla.org

Talked with mrz, they're still short some power cables and network cables, which are on order. He expects to get ~10 going today/tmrw morning, and will make sure to bring up some of each OS, which is better for our staging work.

I recommend changing the hostnames to help identify location. > w32-ix-slaveNN.build.mozilla.org mw32-ix-slaveNN or mw32-ix-slaveNN (15 chars vs 14). > moz2-linux-ix-slaveNN.build.mozilla.org mv-moz2-linux-ix-slaveNN By somehow embedding the letter m or mv into the hostname we'll more easily know where these hosts are located. Thoughts?

The rest are missing power - unfortunately the PDUs weren't in stock - they'll be here next week.

talked on irc - dns is fine. /etc/sysconfig/network was manually edited on each box. your manual fix was the right fix.
(In reply to comment #10) > The rest are missing power - unfortunately the PDUs weren't in stock - they'll > be here next week. Any ETA when next week, and how long to install? Also did the rest of the network cables arrive? aiui, we currently have 14 of 25 linux, and 13 of 25 win32, powered up?
Don't have anything more than ETA of next week. When it ships, I'll update. Shouldn't take more then 30 mins to install. The delay is in grabbing MAC addresses for ipmi and each host and fixing the linux ones. Took me all day to get the 27 you have. Your count is probably right - I didn't double check it.

Missing IPMI and NIC MAC addresses recorded onto spreadsheet, as well as hostname changes to the corresponding machines
I'm actually missing an ipmi MAC address for one windows machine, with the exception of that, the hostnames of the machines I've worked on today should match the format that was asked
Attached file inventory
I imported the rest into dhcp/dns. By Monday they should have all renewed.
From IRC with justilazaro: Windows 11 may have a hardware issue, 19 needs re-imaging
slave19 has been reimaged, slave08 is now up and running, with slave11 having issues that the vendor should address, with no ETA yet. The rest of the machines, including the linux ones, should be up and running
slave11 is now up, all machines should be working, let me know if there are any issues
