The example unicode characters actualy truncated the description of the ticket. To reproduce this, enter some Unicode extension-B characters into a div with contentEditable=true. Sample characters can be found at http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/5078 Try to delete these characters using the backspace button. It requires two keystrokes to delete one character. Should only require one keystroke. Using the delete key to delete characters requires only one keystroke as expected. Originally reported on CKEditor tracker: http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/5078

Is this the same as Bug 332636? Not sure of the Unicode terminology, but sounds similar.
Yes this looks like the same issue as 332636. I will mark this one as duplicate.
