54590 - Clicking off a selection freezes netscape

This page does not display the HTML correctly (reported as a separate
bug).  However, if you select some of the text on this page, and then
click somewhere else, netscape will hang, pegging the CPU 100%.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.goto http://sourceforge.net/
2.select some text over the gray background
3.click somewhere else

Actual Results:  Netscape hangs... CPU jumps to 100%.	

Expected Results:  The text selection should have been cleared.					

Same problem with the viewer app.

I cannot dup this on the October 3 version of Mozilla on either Windows NT or on 
Linux.  If someone woulod like to come to my desk and dup the bug or add more 
info on how to dup the bug, it might be reopened.  I tried selecting text in a 
variety of gray backgrounds on the given page.

Also, the HTML appears (to me) to be correctly displayed.  Perhaps it is a 
timing problem since I am displaying on a remote display using Exceed.

I was able to dup this bug by dragging / selecting / reselecting rapidly across 
text areas.  I do not believe this is likely to be XPCOM.

mjudge, can you look at this?
