User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en; rv:1.9.2.2pre) Gecko/20100214 Camino/2.1a1pre (like Firefox/3.6.2pre) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en; rv:1.9.2.2pre) Gecko/20100214 Camino/2.1a1pre (like Firefox/3.6.2pre) Camino 1.6.10, 2.0.1, 2.1x, tested with fresh profiles STR 1. Press Command-F, type in some text and hit return 2. Switch to a different tab (that you know does not contain the text in step 1) and press Command-G AR: There is no indication that the text was not found in the new tab. ER: Camino should beep. All the applications I tried will beep when you run a "Find Again" in a window/document/tab that does not contain the text from a Find originally run in a different window/document/tab -- Safari, Pages, Terminal, TextWrangler, etc. That seems to be standard Mac behavior for as long as I can remember. Reproducible: Always
Alternative ER: You could open the Find bar on any Command-G so that the "Not found" message would be displayed.
Er, we talked about this last week and there were no objections; I just forgot to confirm :(
