If I run on the same host as gbush crashed I see this crash too with the 2000-09-29-09-MN6 build. The host is a RedHat Linux distribution running kernel rev 2.2.5-15.
Copying Java Software folks who should know about this; perhaps they can lend some wise words here. Also, re-assigning to Ed Burns (OJI module owner).

Same here, with redhat 7, and redhat 6.2, mozilla 20001016. (even netscape 6PR3, if that helps) linux-2.4.0-test9

At Eric Krock's request, I've taken a stopgap measure until my real linux hardware arrives: vmware. Let's hope it works well.
Using Commercial Build ID 2000102321 and Java Plugin for Linux from 10/20/00, This site works for me.
