The first attemption for login of several Bank site is ignored by Firefox 3.6 (it occurs since firefox 3.6 is installed). I have tried 3 banking logins. And in some times the login forms is reseted by sending. The form is shown again and the form is empty. The url is still the same and is no phishing (as obvious for me). The second entry (try) is executed well. Wonder why, first entry does not succeed. This is serious - because user is afraid of phishing practicism.


Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Just enter login form

Actual Results:  
The form is shown again and the form is empty after first entry. The url is still the same and there is no phishing practicism seeable(as obvious for me). The second entry (try) is executed well. Wonder why, first entry does not succeed. This is serious - because user is afraid of phishing practicism.


Expected Results:  
Entry must be executed by first entry.

ok. I found the bug. It is not firefox 3.6 as suspected.
This problem was caused by a persona theme ("Sweet morning" by gsx666).

I have installed a persona theme because there was an advert to this.
Deacitivating this theme makes firefox run normal again. 

Hint: I also noticed that problem by watching the status line. The icons on right side were framed with a black vertical line.

But no. Problem is solved!
Thanks to all who cared for my entry.

But really: You get nervous if the banking login gets a data reset after execution... :-)

I must correct myself. I did not found the cause.
The problem is still be there.

I start firefox 3.6 in safe mode and deactivated all add-ons.
Then i try to login to an banking account.
I absently enter fake data - because I know that the browser reset all my data for first entry. On the second entry the error of the owners site is shown for the wrong data entry.
The problem still exists. But not consequently all the time - just several times (i guess about 50%).

What is your proxy setting in FF ?
Tools/Options/advanced/networking/settings ?
Please set it to "no proxy" and not autodetect.

not invalid, that is a valid bug that happens only with a proxy.
