Thanks for the bug report. Assuming that you were downloading the en-US installer (US English), I've checked that all our mirrors are providing the correct file (down to a sha256 hash), and ran it through Virus Total
https://www.virustotal.com/analisis/4be5441de2909501806f4f702df52f488072cd02acee9af2ecd12f418b060456-1267173853
There we no problems found there on 42 scanners, including CAT-QuickHeal v10.00 updated to 2010-02-26 definitions.
Did you download that installer from somewhere other than mozilla.com ? Perhaps you downloaded a different locale ? Please also check your definitions are updated and retry downloading Firefox.

Ok. This problem is resolved. I downloaded a new definition file from the quick heal center and ran whole system scn. There was a seekservice.exe had an adware because of which this problem was occuring i guess. I deleted that cleaned it and now I can install my favourite briwser. :-) Thank you.

There was a bug in my system and not on the installer file. The online installer file is crystal clean. Please resolve this question.
