548808 - Create Wordpress stage instance at mpl.mozilla.org

For the MPL revision process, we are working on a Wordpress-based site to streamline information and commenting on the issue. The site it supposed to go live on the 7th and we'll need to feed information into the page over the next week, so please help us by setting up the following:

- the domain name mpl.mozilla.org
- a blank Wordpress instance
- drop a checkout of https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mpl_revision/trunk/mpl-theme/ into the wp-content/themes/ directory
- set up the usual wordpress mod_rewrite rules so we can have pretty URLs
- lock the site with LDAP access for now, please.

For logging into wordpress, there are two options, and you can pick what's easier for you
- Either email me the admin credentials, and I'll create wordpress accounts for everyone involved, or
- hook WP up to LDAP and give us access this way. I'll still need to be a wordpress admin then to change all the settings needed.

Is there any way for us to use the existing WPMU instance instead of installing a whole new instance?

I asked both Shyam and Reed, and both didn't have a way handy. However, there seems to be a plugin for this purpose:

You could try that out and let me know if it'll work for us.

Wfm. We should either set up a new WP instance on staging then, or get WPMU to allow custom domain names. Up to you!

I've sent across access details to both of you, admin details to Fred. Site is under basic auth, LDAP was being a pain ;)

Let me know if you need anything else, we'll have a separate bug for moving this to prod.
