Currently the general drumbeat donation page linked to from the header (https://www.drumbeat.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=1) is pointing to a Mozilla Foundation donation page on the PayPal side. We need to correct this as the Mozilla Foundation page should only be collecting donations for Mozilla and not for drumbeat. (The page as it currently stands is what we were developing for general Mozilla donations http://dev.trellon.org/mozcrm/crm/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=1) General drumbeat donations and project-specific donations are restricted donations and cannot go into the general Mozilla Foundation PayPal donation page. As it stands, we cannot track the donations made on the paypal side which is problematic for reporting. I created a Drumbeat page on the PayPal side when we just had the one placeholder page for Drumbeat in January. Can you direct the drumbeat donations page to this PayPal page (sorry, I only have the button script): <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick"> <input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="10537537"> <input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donate_SM.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!"> <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1"> </form> Also, please change the copy on the drumbeat donation page to the following: Donate to Mozilla Drumbeat Mozilla Drumbeat is a global community who use web technology in new ways to understand, participate and take control of their online lives. If you support this missing, please consider making a donation. Or, make a donation with a personal check Please print out and complete the donation form and mail that with a check payable to the Mozilla Foundation to: The Mozilla Foundation - Drumbeat 650 Castro Street Suite 300 Mountain View, CA, 94041-2021 Questions? Please read our Donation FAQ to find answers to common questions. You are also welcome to send questions to donations@mozilla.org. Tax Exempt Status The Mozilla Foundation is a California non-profit corporation exempt from federal income taxation under IRC 501(c)3. Donations are tax deductible for U.S. citizens. For donors outside of the United States, please consult with your tax advisor about whether your donation will be tax deductible. * Your credit card or PayPal account will be automatically charged each month (read our [http://www.mozilla.org/foundation/donate_faq.html]Donation FAQ[/] to find out how to cancel a monthly donation). ** The Mozilla Foundation may use any directed donation for other purposes if the Board of Directors is unable to find suitable activities to fund for a project, if a project becomes inactive or otherwise becomes ineligible to receive funds.
Also, the thank you page has not been configured for this. I will try to configure it in CiviContribute, but I see that there are two "Donate to Mozilla Foundation" contribution pages in CiviDonate. Anyone know which one is live (they are both listed as active)?

I've tried to update the Thank you page in both profiles but I'm still getting the place holder one that has the text "Thank you text goes here" on it. Michael, is there something else I need to do other than save the new text in the Manage Contribution pages section?

Campbell, next steps here?
* Campbell will follow up on this one.
Here is the PayPal URL that the donation page should direct to: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=10537537
I updated the copy on the donate page - you can do it from within CiviCRM. Still trying to track down what's going on with recurring donations.
Copy is good on the main page now (thank you!). Copy still goes to "Donate to Mozilla Foundation" on the confirmation page (needs to be the same "Donate to Mozilla Drumbeat" and doesn't go to the proper PayPal donation page (comment 5). Getting there!
Update please?
There is no way to use your hosted button with Paypal Standard in Civi. Have you upgraded to Paypal Pro? Th only fields Civi provides for Paypal Standard users is the base URL (paypal.com) and the merchant account email (accounting@mozilla.com). If you want to use Paypal standard, I recommend setting up another merchant account email. Otherwise, I don't think we can get this to work without modifying Civi core. I'm looking into the confirmation page, the settings are correct for it to go back to "donate to Mozilla Drumbeat" but apparently it isn't doing that. will post with more info later.
We have upgraded to PayPal Pro and I can find you the URL from the button. This is https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=10537537. Try this and let me know if it works. I also think I've solved the issues with the thank you page on the PayPal side. It should redirect to the main drumbeat page, but if there is a standard thank you page URL I can add to PayPal then I will do that.
Matt, you can add a specific thank you page to the site if you like by going to the Content Management menu -> create content -> page. Chelsea, the place to configure paypal pro in Civi is http://www.drumbeat.org/civicrm/admin/paymentProcessor?reset=1&action=update&id=7&pp=PayPal . I think you have to actually put in accounting@mozilla.com's paypal password, so it's smarter for you to enter it directly (or skype it to me, since that's an encrypted medium).
Any update on this? Chelsea, let me know when the information is entered.
Waiting to board a flight. Sorry. Will update tonight after I land.
General donations for drumbeat are now going through the CRM properly and being returned as completed by PayPal, so it is possible to cross reference drumbeat donations against PayPal. Unless there is something Campbell or Michael want to check, can we close this bug?
Let's close this - project source issue remains, but is tracked in #549916
