At the site shown I cannot "Send" because the "Submission type" form is missing. It works in Internet Explorer but not in any Firefox version I tried. Checked these browsers: broken: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.15pre) Gecko/20080601 BonEcho/2.0.0.15pre broken: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.12pre) Gecko/2009060105 GranParadiso/3.0.12pre broken: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1pre) Gecko/20090601 Shiretoko/3.5pre broken: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 broken: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a2pre) Gecko/20100225 Minefield/3.7a2pre
Works fine with Camino 2.1pre (Gecko 1.9.2, basically equivalent to Firefox 3.6) here. Strangely enough, it *is* missing in Firefox 3.6 on the same computer. I think they're feeding "Firefox" user-agents busted code, because if I spoof Fx 3.6 as IE 7, it works fine. (Of course, now that I did that once, I can't get Fx 3.6 to fail any more, either...) It works fine in Firefox 3.0.17, too, which further suggests it's a UA sniffing problem. Unfortunately, I can't find where the actual sniffing might be taking place.
OS: Windows 7 → All
Hardware: x86 → All
If I spoof Fx 3.6 as Fx 3.0, that works, too, but only if I haven't already visited the site with the default 3.6 user-agent string. I think there's a cookie getting set, too, but I wasn't successful in toggling the problem on or off by clearing cookies. I had to quit Firefox between tests. Not totally sure what's going on here :-\
I didn't test against the user agent or cookie settings. I created a new profile and then tested them all using the same profile. So if my first test failed, they all might fail.
Tested again with new profiles between every build. The only builds listed in comment 0 that worked were Firefox 2 and 3.7a2pre.
The page has changed since the report. The browser is now redirected to http://www.utc.com/Pages/Contacts.aspx Let's resolved as invalid.
