Configuration->Advanced->General->Enable Global Search and Indexer

Unchecking the box fails to halt or pause indexing.

Requires quit and restart.

(Unlike earlier reports, was slow to quit, but did quit eventually.)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. upgrade to 3.0.3
2. indexing starts by default.
3. Preferences->Advanced->General
4. uncheck Enable Global Search and Indexer
Actual Results:  
5. Continues indexing

6. Quit
7. Restart
8. no indexing now.


Expected Results:  
Pause/Stop indexing

this is a support issue and irrc is trivial to fix.
not blocking, but we should make a *deliberate* effort to fix rather than wait for a good samaritan.

As a related sidenote, if you have gloda disabled, and enable it in prefs, the indexing doesn't start. You have to quit and restart TB to get indexing started.
