- go to aol's homepage - log into aol webmail - click "write mail", a new window will appear to compose the amil - enter a valid email address and some garbage text in the body - click "send" the compose window goes away, you get a dialog that pops up saying "your mail has been sent." this is pretty bad, not being able to send mail from our parent company, and dogfood for me as i regularly do this. back to 4.x, i guess.
appears to be mac-only, happens with mac fc bits (9/29/00). doesn't happen with 9/30 win32 bits. FWIW, i see this stack _a lot_ when closing popup windows while things are loading.
Folks need to test and work with the AOL mail system... and crashing severely bloks that :-/. Marking dogfood-plus
