From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.14-5.0 i686; en-US; m17) Gecko/20000807
BuildID: 2000080712
I used to use Netscape 4.75 to send mail. I liked the way that I could see
status messages at the bottom of the window that showed the progress of the SMTP
transaction (contacting server, mail sent, etc.) because they let me know when
it was safe to disconnect my dialup modem. (Sometimes my ISP's SMTP server
takes a while to respond.) I don't see that status info when I send with Mozilla.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Compose a mail message.
2.Click the send button.
3.Window closes immediately.
Actual Results: No status messages.
Expected Results: Show me status of SMTP transaction.

Pretty sure this is a dupe, I can't find it though. In the modern skin (linux
2000101008) there is a small "sending ...." in the bottom of the window. then it
goes away when message is sent. The status bar does not progress like it should
though ....
