Before the ftp directory listing at 
   ftp://ftp.isc.org/usenet/control-old/alt/ 
finishes loading, Firefox replaces the directory listing page with a page showing only the following error message:

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: ftp://ftp.isc.org/usenet/control-old/alt/

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Visit ftp://ftp.isc.org/usenet/control-old/alt/
2.  Wait for the directory listing to load completely.


Actual Results:  
Before the ftp directory listing finishes loading, Firefox replaces the directory listing page with an "XML Parsing Error" page.

Expected Results:  
Firefox should display the full ftp directory listing.

Confirmed with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.3a3pre) Gecko/20100312 Minefield/3.7a3pre

It worked fine with Firefox 3.0 but 3.5 and later fail.

This is similar to bug 525222 but for ftp://, not file://.  The underlying problem is the same.

Bug 525222 landed, which fixes this issue as well.
