In bug 550940 we disabled the repacks-on-change for mobile. We should re-enable this at some point.
Whiteboard: [fennec l10n]
I would like to enable this again and hope that we won't have any re-spawning jobs.

We won't be landing this until I have at least some debugging code that will help us in case the re-spawning job appears. I am trying to get this in to help localizers for the imminent Fennec releases.
Priority: P4 → P3
I won't be able to look onto this for a while.

This is a mass change. Every comment has "assigned-to-new" in it. I didn't look through the bugs, so I'm sorry if I change a bug which shouldn't be changed. But I guess these bugs are just bugs that were once assigned and people forgot to change the Status back when unassigning.

Axel I can only see L10n mobile desktop nightly builds for linux, win32 and macosx. In other words, I don't see any apk localized files. Do we want to generate xpi files on-change for all these 3 *mobile* desktop builds? What is the long term plan for L10n and xpi files? On another note, could we generate a xpi file that could work for all OSes? * win32, linux, macosx * mobile win32, mobile linux and mobile macosx I don't see too much difference between them when I download them.

I don't have any idea what we're building on mobile and when/why, really. The long term plans are driven by the mobile team, I can't speak for that. The language packs should be cross-platform, though.
Thanks Axel. This bug was just filed for consistency with desktop repacks. mfinkle I would like to close this bug if you have no objections as nobody has missed the lack of them and the nightly builds have done the job for testing.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
I suppose we can close this. We do have work happening with langpacks and nightlies, but that shouldn't be affected by any "on change" builds.
