Armen mentioned this installation work will likely be shared between several people to make it go faster.

This doesn't have to be done manually on XP, we have OPSI there.
Right, opsi on winxp and manually on win7 (unless something changes drastically on win7 soon).
I used http://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/thg-winbuild/downloads/mercurial-1.5.0.msi on my personal machine. I did |set PYTHONHOME='lalalala'| then |hg clone http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central| after installing that package and mercurial ran without warnings for me. I think they have previous versions of mercurial available as well, but I haven't used them.

I am taking on to see how to get Mercurial into the XP slaves with OPSI. Other requirements mentioned on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=549458#c16 could be included at the same time or go in a second batch of deployments.

In bug 549458 I am getting the work done for deploying MozillaBuild + python win32 extensions for XP and Win7 slaves. There is no need to have two bugs for the same work.

I am cleaning up the dependencies of some of these unit tests on the minis bugs and verifying their summaries. My apologies for the extra bugmail. In bug 549458#c38 we deployed MozillaBuild to all XP slaves.
