Some brainstorming:
- it would be nice to be able to run native programs
- we want to support reporting of the results of these programs
- we could also have the harness time program execution. However, I'm not sure that is that valuable, so we shouldn't worry about it at first.
- we probably also want a way to run in-browser tests
- we can use the manifest to specify what to test and how to report
- the native perf-tests can be built and packaged like our other native tests
