Windows 7 64bit
The items in my menu bar aren't properly being set to enabled/disabled (gray vs. black text). When I open a new Firefox window, all the menu bar items have gray text. When I mouse over the menu item or access the keyboard shortcut (e.g. alt+f), the menu item become permanently black if the window is active and temporarily black (while the menu item is hovered over) if the window is inactive (background).
In the screen shot I will attach, the mouse was hovering over the 'bookmarks' menu on the firefox window in the background and the mouse had at somepoint hovered over the view menu when the background window had focus. the mouse had also hovered over the tools and help menu of the foreground window
the colour of the text has no impact on functionality
steps to produce:
1. open browser window
2. notice gray menu items
3. hover over a menu item
4. notice that the menu item has black text
5. select menu
6. notice that menu works
expected:
-text should be black the entire time
actual:
-text is gray until its menu item has focus
-text stays black if the menu item is inside of a window that is in the foreground
