This is a meta tracking bug for a project to redesign how Firefox exposes a site's identity to the user. Goals of the project are to:
-Reduce the current amount of redundancy in the UI
-Provide the ability to display persistent indicators (like the privilege to access the user's geo location)
-Integrate with the new panel-based notification system
-Present a more obvious absence of a cue in the event that there is no sll or ev connection
Goals will probably make more sense once I have mockups up, just getting the meta tracking bug filed.

The meta keyword is there, the bug doesn't depend on other bugs and there is no activity for 12 months.
