We are now using WebTrends to track our web analytics. Please sample Getpersonas.com traffic at 50%. Below you'll find directions from Dan Bohling (WebTrend's Senior Solution Engineer):
"Attached are two documents. First one is the doc for the initial deploy across the discussed sites below. Second is the zip file of the actual tag to use.
I’ve only included one tag, we will use the SAME tag across all sites, only difference will be there are three “tokenized” items in the tag that has to be replaced prior to deploy. The solutions doc covers all of that.
I will be setting up the actual profiles shortly, datasources are already setup in your account to received the identified DCSID’s."

No deadline. The sooner the better I suppose, but it's up to you.

Ok. And do we have to do anything to sample at 50% or will webtrends do this?

We have to edit one parameter on the tag -- it's straightforward and described in the implementation doc.

Since folks around the office are starting to ask, can I get an ETA? Again, there's no pressing time line.

Pretty sure I got this right. Changed required variables and added all JS to our pages.

For QA:
When viewing network traffic for personas.stage, you should see a request to http://statse.webtrendslive.com
Blake, would you mind double-checking for us? Thanks!

Would like to have someone experienced with WebTrends verify we're implementing/pinging their servers. Not required, but I don't want to push live a site without metrics.

Hello, this is Brian from Webtrends. Where can I review the tag implementation? It doesn't look like it is live on getpersonas.com

You haven't included the Javascript file anywhere on the page. This file has initialization parameters as mentioned by Blake. Right now all the inline HTML fails as there is no Webtrends object and no data is being sent to Webtrends. Please review the Word document and let me know if I can help.

Hi Brian, the webtrends javascript is added via the minify script, so, it's included on http://getpersonas-stage-cdn.mozilla.net/static/min/?g=js&r=67402
can you check that code? thanks!

Patricio,
It looks like it's working now. The first-party cookie is not working but this is because it is set to "getpersonas.com" - it looks like it will be fine when it goes live.
