The download manager's bottom bar is a solid black instead of glassy. When d2d is disabled, the aero glass effect is correctly applied to aforementioned area.
See attached screenshot comparing without and with d2d enabled.

This does not appear to be an issue on WinXP. Vista/7 only?

Forgot to add: My system is older and not capable of the advanced features like d2d (I don't believe).

Another ATI vs Nvidia issue ? My ATI HD3200 on-board video does not exhibit the problem, its OK either way: dw/d2d on/off.

Same here, using Nvidia 7050 / 610i, Win 7 RC 32bit, latest drivers I see a black bar in the download manager also with D2D and DW enabled. I see transparent glass (border) otherwise with DW and D2D disabled.

This is part of the general glass aero bug, we're working to fix this. There's patches for most problems.

This still like an Nvidia issue maybe since I still see this and others do not.

Hrm, I'm not seeing it, but it being a driver issue seems unlikely. Very strange.
