While testing the 3.7a4 candidate, I noticed that ogg videos played very choppy. I compared this to the previous alpha, 3.7a3 and it plays fine in that build. A couple of people tried it in their own environments and they were not able to reproduce the problem.

I observed this whether I downloaded it the file first or streamed it, in-page or full screen mode.

Are the builds you are using to test including the backout mentioned in bug 557432 comment 25? The backout removed a changed that would cause choppy playback.

a4 was built from Wednesday's nightly: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/231cc7025b6f

I'm pretty sure that was before any part of bug 557432 landed or was backed out.
