Bugzilla 3.6 release notes state that email_in.pl now supports attachments.  The API pod docs linked in the URL field above still state that attachments are not supported.

Looks good. But while you are updating POD in email_in.pl, is this sentence still relevant?

"Note that the email interface has the same limitations as the normal Bugzilla interface. So, for example, you cannot reassign a bug and change its status at the same time."

Looks like this is a statement from old 3.0 days.
