afaik i started seeing these after my vista OS hung last week due to resource issues caused by FF.  Until I rebooted, I believe thunderbird continued to run in a resource starved state for a significant period of time (30-30 minutes), during which time I have no idea what activity occurred in thunderbird and (of course) don't know what level of stability it was experiencing


and also, but never with the same time stamp ...

I have similar problem on my Linux machine (self-compiled 3.1.1 rc build2) (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; pl-PL; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100714 Thunderbird/3.1.1); when some messages arrive, filters move them into subfolders outside inbox, but inbox smart folder counter is not updated; instead of this I've got error in error console (as can be seen on attached screenshot)

The full text search doesn't work for me ( Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS i86pc; en-US; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20101021 Thunderbird/3.1.4 )

The following error messages keeps coming in the "Error console".

I deleted the "global-messages-db.sqlite" GLODA index file from my profile folder. The file is rebuilt the next time I start Thunderbird. But, still I'm hitting this issue.

There was a version of SQLite released where the FTS logic regressed and would cause an error like the above to occur.  Perhaps you are using that version of SQLite somehow?  (Your build identifier suggests a custom build, potentially with a system SQLite then?)  Please make sure to use a build with the built-in SQLite, preferably corresponding to the most recent Thunderbird source tree stuff.  (We have upgraded the version of SQLite on the 1.9.2 relbranch over time.)

If that doesn't fix it, I recall seeing some bugs about problems between SQLite and Solaris relating to the VFS I think...
