Shouldn't there be a pref or something that allows users to ignore the viewport attribute of the meta-tag?
Because I can imagine that websites will use it in a completely wrong way.
Firefox has a pref that disallows the meta tag to redirect to a different url, for instance.

Websites using the meta tag the wrong way is not a reason to create a preference to run it off.

Well, websites can open popup windows, set cookies and other annoying things, which Firefox can prevent with a pref in general.
