56312 - Scrolling nick list sometimes crashes

When the nick list is scrolled, usually this will hang chatzilla and any other
open windows. If it doesn't hang straight away, try again.

This happens in both Classic and Modern skins.

I have always been in #mozillazine when this happened (although I'm not usually
anywhere else)

Confirming on linux cvs build 2000101321.  It didn't happen right away, but
after scrolling a few times it locked up.

I noticed this myself on windows 2000 with MTrunk 2000110204

seemed to happen when trying to negotiate a horizontal scrollbar that doesn't
show up until you vertically scroll to a nick which is longer than the current
sidebar viewport.

What is odd is that the horizontal scrollbar doesn't stay one size.  It just
keeps adjusting based on whether there is a nick in the current view that is
long.  If the nick is out of the viewable area, the horizontal scrollbar
disappears.  It should stay the same all the time whether the long nick is
viewable or not.  If it is in the list at all, the scrollbar should be there all
the time.
