Details
I tried installing 1.1b1 from /m/beta today. During the install process the version number is 1.0.1, about:firefox shows 1.0.1, and about:firstrun is the old version.
Please confirm.
Filing this under websites because I'm not sure the proper place to file it. I don't think it's a websites bug though, because the download link is correct with ?product=firefox-mobile-1.1b1
Seems like a bouncer config bug

Pretty sure this is because you have multiple repos with Fennec in them.
When I go to /m/beta and click on an install file from my desktop browser, the install file is correct (points at latest-beta).
The app manager will grab the install file, then install Fennec from the top repo in your list. To fix this, delete any and all Mozilla repos in your App Manager before trying to download the beta.
