Details

I was doing some exploratory testing around Flash context menus and full screen when I noticed that I could hang the browser by selecting a context menu option within a video while in full screen mode. I tried this with 3.6.4build3, 3.6.4buil1d1, and 3.6.3, and Flash 10.1.53.31, on hardware and virtual machines. 1. Go to hulu.com and play a video 2. Click on the full screen option button 3. Righ click on the video and select "About Flash..." from the menu 4. Press ESC to get out of full screen mode and try to select the hulu.com tab You may have to repeat these steps a few times, but the application will eventually hang and stay like that until you kill the plugin-container process or the firefox process in non-oopp builds. No crash report is sent. You will also notice that after the context menu selection, while still in full screen mode, the video will play very choppy.

I cannot reproduce this on Windows XP or on Mac when testing our latest build. We made a release last night. Would you mind confirming you can reproduce on that version? http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html#flashplayer10
Marking this as wanted. We won't block the 3.6.4 release because this happened in 3.6.3.

The Standalone Flash player also has a bug where in full screen mode, the system responds very slowly if you right click to open a context menu. I think it might be the same problem described above. So Flash may be the buggy thing here, not Firefox.
Is this a regression? If so, please re-nominate for 1.9.3.

Resolving old bugs which are likely not relevant any more, since NPAPI plugins are deprecated.
