Attached file testcase
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.3a5pre) Gecko/20100505 Minefield/3.7a5pre + Ubuntu 10.04 (64 bit) Loading the testcase triggers: ###!!! ASSERTION: Success status set too early!: 'NPRES_DONE != mStreamStatus', file /home/jruderman/mozilla-central/dom/plugins/BrowserStreamChild.cpp, line 246
Still happens with Firefox trunk and Ubuntu 10.10.
Attached file more-insane testcase
Also happens when loading this reftest helper file: http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/layout/reftests/svg/as-image/img-foreignObject-embed-2-helper.svg This arises from the <embed ... src="data:audio/wav" ...> in that file. More simply, I hit this if I just directly load this data URI: data:text/html,<embed src="data:audio/wav,"> (I'm using an up-to-date m-c debug build, on Ubuntu 11.10)
Summary: "ASSERTION: Success status set too early!" handing Ogg audio file to Totem → "ASSERTION: Success status set too early!" handing Ogg or Wav audio file to Totem
