Adobe Reader Ver 9.3.2
Mouse wheel won't scroll current tab after new tab loads a PDF.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Under Options, the box for 'When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately' is unchecked.
2. Use the supplied URL. Using the left column, RIGHT-click on any link and choose 'Open Link in New Tab' but DO NOT CLICK on the new tab. While it's loading, the mouse wheel scrolls.
3. When new tab finishes loading the PDF, the mouse wheel ceases to scroll.
4. Clicking on the new tab and then back to current tab restores wheel scrolling.
Actual Results:
Mouse wheel won't scroll current tab until I click on new tab and then click current tab.

Expected Results:
Mouse wheel should continue to scroll current tab whether new tabs have finished loading or not.

The supplied URL is all PDFs but no file sizes are given so you'll have to experiment to find one that takes long enough to load that you can observe the mouse wheel action on the current tab before the new tab finishes loading.
Persists through 3.6.4 and 3.6.6
OS: Win7 Prof 64

Same problem here with firefox 4.0b2, WinXP SP3. But i need to 'middle click' the pdf, so it opens in a new tabs, without displaying it. When mouse wheel is stuck, you can't use the up and down arrow to scroll.

Workaround : Switch to the tab, and get back to the original tab. The mouse wheel is working again.
Same issue here with Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended 9.4.0 and Firefox 4.0b6 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6).

I think Bug #594398 is a duplicate of this bug.
Problem still persists in Firefox 4.0b7 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b7) and Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended 9.4.0.
I see this as well, on my Synaptics touchpad. I thought what was breaking it was my touchpad driver, but it turns out it is just because I have a PDF open in a background tab. I am seeing it on Windows Vista, so it isn't just Windows XP. When I scroll, it scrolls the background tab's PDF, instead of the currently focused tab.
