This is spin-off of Bug 433806 Comment #37, (Phenomenon-C).
If local mail is deleted after copy/move to IMAP folder of offline-use=off while offline mode, copied/moved mail in IMAP folder is lost upon Work Online.
Delete at local mail folder should be prohibited, or offline-store file should be used for copy/move while offline-mode even if offline-use=off.

[Steps to reproduce]
(0) Gmail IMAP
IMAP delete model : remove immediately
Max cached connection count : 2
auto-compact is enabled, so dialog before auto-compact is enabled to test.
If dialog before auto-compact appears, reply "No"(or "Cancel").
Folders: a1 (no mail), offline-use=off
local mail folder(say LCL, mail-1, mail-2)
(1) Work Offline.
(2) Copy/Move mails while offline mode.
(2-1) Copy mail-1 in LCL to a1
(2-2) Move mail-2 in LCL to a1
(3) At LCL, Select All, Shift+Delete, Compact
(4) Work Online
=> mails in a1 disapper.

Re: bug 1550929 Comment 3. I can confirm this bug. However, as noted above, user should not delete messages from source folder until they are sure it is OK in destination. Also, STR must be pretty unusual or this bug would be reported more often.
