Please create a VM called 'mv-master01.build.mozilla.org' from the standard linux reference image.  This machine needs to be in mountain view and should be on fast disk if possible.
There is only one type of disk in Mountain View - local - and it's finite.

Talked this over with jhford and catlee. We are going to WONTFIX this.

There are some shortterm changes we could do here, but not clear how much that work would gain us. Also we would have to redo this anyway once we have another colo available, and start shuffling slaves and masters around. Instead, our overall idea is to make sure we have machines arranged in PODs in different colos, and do not have all eggs-in-one-basket. 

Meanwhile, if we hit any problems with connection between MPT and 650castro, we'll file a new bug with the IT folks to fix that.
