These are things that we or Core or IT need to fix before we can generate 1.9.3 nightlies that don't crash on startup. Besides the linked bugs, we'll need the equivalents of bug 560996 and bug 557329 (remember to file MXR bugs along with those), plus any other critical crash bugs we discover between now and then. (We'll also need to reconfigure the 1.9.2 tinder-config to use the new 1.9.2 repo in conjunction with this.) Note that this isn't about functional regressions, and, unlike bug 560323, is also not explicitly about making them dogfoodable, only about getting far enough to pass alive, Ts, and perhaps Tdhtml. Next week we should discuss at what point we want to clone the repo and start cross-landing, once we have a better idea of how long it will be before the currently-known Gecko startup crasher is fixed.
Given that embedding is gone, is this bug CANTFIX?

No, that's what bug 571115, on which this bug's dep bug 569778 depends, is for. Obviously this bug doesn't have the same immediacy it did when it was originally filed, but we shouldn't close it yet.
(In reply to comment #1) > Given that embedding is gone, is this bug CANTFIX? Yup.
