I have recently installed Eudora OSE 1.0 on Ubuntu 10.04, 64-bit, and find that the remember function on that platform works as advertised. Beautiful! I installed on Windows XP and may confirm the bug is still present with that. It's erratic. Sometimes, the settings are remembered. Sometimes not. Say, 30 percent yes, 70 percent no. In both installations, I switched from Thunderbird 3.1 without erasing the profile. It would be nice to have this bug fixed for the windows version.
