Please add Firefox 4 Beta to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/

with the Fx logo and some greek text. I'll ask Slater to write something snappy for the actual content.

I want to note that semantically this is a bit weird to me.  Beta is a subset of the Firefox product which is already on that page, and we've never added any other betas to this page, afaik.  I'm betting your reasons for doing this are for more exposure, but it doesn't make sense, IMHO.

That's a totally valid point, but we're doing a lot of new things with this beta, such as building an entire microsite within mozilla.com to promote it. The general philosophy around this release is to treat the beta as its own product to be promoted, so adding it to the products page - perhaps in the sidebar instead of the main column (since it's still *only* a beta) - seems legit to me.

Also, as far as it being a subset of the Firefox product, we already have a precedent for that - the mobile Firefox is a subset, too, and we've broken that out into its own item on this page and elsewhere within the site. Distinguishing between Fx3.6 and Fx4 - also two separate products - doesn't feel weird to me.

Anyway, I'll throw together some copy for this and we can go from there. My preference would be to add the link to the right sidebar rather than the main section.
