Details
I used today's branch verification build for MacOS to download today's Win32
N6Setup.exe file, then mailed it to myself as an attachment.
Using yesterday's branch verification build on Win98, I opened the message using
IMAP, and saved the attachment to my hard disk.
When I clicked on the executable, I got an error saying that it could not be
run, because the format is invalid. I waited a minute and tried again, same result.
I then transferred the file through filesharing on Jazz, and was able to run it
on my Win98 box, so I know the source file was good.

I don't know, this isn't something I really need to do much. Esther, has anyone
been able to reproduce this in recent builds?
Using mac build 2001-05-02 I sent myself as an attachment the netscap6.exe that
points to the fpt server and the bundled netscap6.exe. I retrieved these msgs
from my IMAP Inbox on my windows system and saved them to the desktop. I then
clicked on each one to install the app. Both installed OK. No errors about the
format being invalid. Note: the full bundle took 3-4 minutes to download, the
first time I clicked on it to download it I closed the app not paying attention
to the downloading status (it was still downloading). When I clicked on the
incomplete download (which showed an empty icon on the desktop) I did get an
invalid for Win32 error. But when I waited for the downloading status to go
away the exe installed OK.
This can be resolved as worksforme now.
