With new Firefox button enabled. "Show window contents while dragging" unchecked is honored. This should be easy to fix, as this was fixed earlier for bug 185533 Steps:- 1. From control panel or from any where open "Appearance Settings" 2. Open Effects. (see attachment Win_Appearance_Effects.png) 3. Uncheck "Show window contents while dragging" 4. Open any windows application and drag the window by title bar 5. User see window dragged showing only a dotted frame 6. Switch to Firefox 7. Enable the new "Firefox" button. 8. Drag window by pressing mouse on right of "Firefox" button. Result User see window dragged along with contents Expected User see a dotted frame being dragged

This is fixed by the latest patches on bug 555081. Note, however, that if you use the Classic Windows theme, dragging will only be possible by the titlebar (dragging by the appbutton was just a side effect for a few days), until we enable custom titlebar drawing for non-aero themes, and this system setting will be honored.
