FWIW, detaching the Tab back to the Source Window restores its Content.

It's loaded, it's just not being shown. Refreshing the page will display it.
Summary: detached window is blank (page is not loaded) → detached window is blank, tab document not shown

Adding annotation on the whiteboard just so we keep track of some of the issues we noticed in beta 1 candidates.

I had to disable those two Litmus tests because they are failing constantly and producing a lot of failed results. I will re-enable those once this bug has been fixed.

Note that just dragging the tab back into the window it came from will show it. So the swap is happening correctly, but we're either not creating the presentation correctly or something.
I see this on Mac too. Been mening to file for a while now.

I'll probably be picking this up, the Show problems are on the top of my todo list. (after I get the frame rendering work finished up, which should be in the next day or so.)

Do we know this was caused by bug 574690?

We know that bug was in the regression range, and there's a quite plausible mechanism for that bug causing the problem. See bug 576261 comment 8.

Verified fixed with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:2.0b2pre) Gecko/20100718 Minefield/4.0b2pre
Given that this bug hasn't been catched by our automation framework, I assume we do not have any test for this particular case?
Also both Litmus tests have been enabled again.
