If I open the find box (Command-F) on any page, and then click in the location bar, I can no longer move the caret using control-a and control-e. As soon as I close the find box, I can once move the cursor in the location bar using control-a and control-e.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any page.
2. Open the find box
3. Click the location bar to move focus there
4. Press control-a.
5. Close the find box
5. Click on the location bar again.
6. Press control-a.
Actual Results:  
Control-a and control-e do nothing while the find box is open, even if it is not focused.

Expected Results:  
Control-a and control-e should go the beginning and end of the line in the location bar (and the find box when that is focused).

Yes, I have this issue too. Very annoying. I thought it was just intermittent but you are right that it is connected to the find box being open. Nice catch. It occurs even if the find box is open on another window and not the one you are using. All find boxes must be closed for Control-A to move to the beginning of line in the location bar (or any other text entry for that matter). I am running the latest stable Firefox (3.6.15) and see this behavior.

I also note that Control-A does not move to the beginning of the phrase in the find box, which is also annoying. Overloading the standard bindings in different contexts just makes an application hard to use!

Firefox has no key to copy link since 88. It was removed and not replaced. This is completely unreasonable.

A replacement key that is unusable by human hands is not a replacement. It's not unlike telling people they can vote, if they stand in line for 8 hours without water. That is telling people that they can't vote.

Telling people that there is a new key, but it's across the room where NO ONE, NO HUMAN HAND can reach, is telling them that there is no key.

Firefox has NO KEY to copy link currently.

There was no reason to break this, and I want you to know that I am never going to stop reporting it.

You broke a browser that millions of people depended on for NO REASON. NO REASON. There was NO REASON TO REMOVE THE HOTKEY TO COPY LINKS FROM FIREFOX.
