Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100622 Fedora/3.6.4-1.fc13 Firefox/3.6.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100622 Fedora/3.6.4-1.fc13 Firefox/3.6.4 SELinux reports a denial: SELinux is preventing /usr/lib/firefox-3.6/firefox from loading /home/joel/.mozilla/firefox/[secret].default/extensions/[secret]/platform/Linux_x86-gcc3/components/WeaveCrypto.so which requires text relocation. Firefox Sync cannot sync and reports "Unknown error" when trying to sync. The SELinux denial report says to report a bug "until the library is fixed." Even after applying the suggested chcon command, Sync still reports the unknown error. I get no errors in the Firefox Error Console. Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Weave won't sync Expected Results: Weave will sync I have two other Fedora 13 machines: on one I have had no errors, on the other Weave has never worked (since doing a fresh install of FEdora 13) and on this machine Weave worked fine until upgrading to FEdora 13 yesterday.
The workaround here is to use Firefox 4 Beta, as we don't need the binary components there. As the binary components exist for 3.5/3.6, they are not a development priority at this time.
