I believe this is something that was overlooked when we got rid of the open new tab with double click when the menu bar is hidden. I've got a user at SUMO asking how to double click to open new tab (why he would want to do that is beyond me), and I had to tell him to make the menu bar visible. Not really good when he should be able to do it by just putting tabs on bottom.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. The version I've used is 4.0b2pre
2. Hide the menu bar if it's not hidden
3. Get tabs on bottom if they're on top
4. Double click the glass (empty space) in the tab strip
Actual Results:
Maximized/restores the window.
Expected Results:
Open a new tab.
