This is a less than trivial bug to reproduce so feel free to ask for more documentation.

When pasting into any text field via command+v and also dragging the border of the same text field the text field will disappear. 

Attached is a video of me doing this. You'll need flash installed to view it.

hopefully the two images demonstrate that the text box is being removed from the page completely not just being hidden as I initially suspected.

I found it also pastes the clipboard into the body of the page, when I don't drag the mouse out and instead keep it right on the border.
