On the intel URL, after clicking on the update check button, a security warning window is opened in order to validate a certificate
It is not possible to click on it and firefox is hung.
After several seconds, the java plugin is declared hung by Lorentz and firefox becomes OK.

Java version : 1.6 update 20.

Yes it certainly seems like it. The same java crash after dialog box concerning certificate verification.
